What are the responsibilities and job description for the Server/Waiter position at Wings and Rings?
- Greeting customers: Welcome customers and present specials
- Taking orders: Accurately take orders and input them into the point of sale system
- Serving food and drinks: Serve food and drinks to customers
- Checking on customers: Check on customers to ensure they are enjoying their meals
- Clearing tables: Clear tables of food and dishes after customers are done eating
- Handling payments: Ensure bills are correct and handle payment
- Communicating with kitchen staff: Communicate with kitchen staff to ensure orders are sent out as requested
- Maintaining a clean work environment: Follow proper handwashing protocols and wear appropriate protective gear
- Adhering to health and safety standards: Follow all relevant health department rules and regulations
Skills: Good communication, Punctuality, Ability to work under pressure, Ability to manage multiple tables at once, and Ability to deal with customer concerns.
