Host/Hostess - Wings Etc. Grill & Pub

As the face of the restaurant, you'll be the first point of contact, setting the tone for an enjoyable guest experience.
Responsibilities:
- Greet guests warmly as they enter, ensuring a friendly and inviting atmosphere.
- Manage the seating arrangement to ensure even distribution of tables to servers.
- Answer guest questions about the menu, daily specials, and the restaurant's services.
- Take reservations and manage waitlists during busy periods, keeping guests informed of their seating time.
- Assist with maintaining the cleanliness of the front of house, including restocking menus and cleaning the host stand.
- Handle guest inquiries and direct them to the appropriate person if further assistance is needed.
- Work closely with servers and kitchen staff to maintain smooth communication and ensure guests have an excellent dining experience.
Requirements:
- Prior experience in customer service or hospitality is preferred but not required.
- Friendly and outgoing personality with excellent communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and handle busy shifts efficiently.
- Must be able to stand for long periods and move quickly in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Team player with a willingness to assist in other areas of the restaurant when needed.
- Basic knowledge of food service and restaurant operations is a plus.
