Host/Hostess

Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Hostess to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring a smooth dining experience. You will manage reservations, greet guests, and guide them to their tables while providing exceptional customer service. Your ability to communicate effectively and maintain guest relations will be key to enhancing our restaurant's reputation.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the restaurant
• Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently
• Communicate wait times to guests and ensure they are comfortable
• Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area
• Provide menus and inform guests about daily specials
• Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely service
• Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism
• Utilize Aloha POS or other point-of-sale systems for managing reservations

Skills

• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with guests and team members
• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $12.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 40 per week
