Needed: Inspiring Special Education Teacher to implement a functional-based program for students with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Come work in a collaborative model with Education Specialists, Occupational Therapists, Speech Therapists, and an intense Administrative support system. We have small class sizes with high staff-to-student ratios.
Responsibilities:
- Work with individual students to determine their specific educational needs and challenges
- Develop and revise individual educational programs to give students a clear path to academic success
- Teach in both full-class and individualized settings
- Foster personal growth in all students, empathizing with children who have unique and varied experiences and viewpoints
Required:
- Valid Special Education (Education Specialist Instruction) Credential.
Considerations For Employment:
- An intern-eligible candidate enrolled in a Special Education Credentialing program will also be considered for this great opportunity
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in special education
- Valid state teaching license
- Special education license
- Experience teaching children with special needs
- Compassionate and empathetic
- Training and experience with behavioral analysis
