Salary: $60,000 ~ $75,000/year (depending on experience)
Work Schedule: Monday ~ Friday* | 5 days/week (~3 days on-location : 2 days remote)
*This is a 60/40 hybrid position that must accommodate a flexible work schedule including weekends, evenings, holidays, special events, and occasional overnight/out-of-town travel.

Summary
Wings Over the Rockies seeks a motivated and detail-oriented Annual Giving Manager to support and increase fundraising and donor engagement efforts. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring the success of the Museum’s development initiatives, including developing new donors, donor stewardship, database management, and event management. The Annual Giving Manager will work closely with the Chief Development Officer to increase development initiatives and to strengthen relationships with donors to advance the mission of Wings Over the Rockies. The position manages all aspects of the annual giving fund including growth in new donor acquisition, increasing donor retention, donor communications, and engagement strategies. The Annual Giving Manager reports to the Chief Development Officer and works closely with the Corporate Relations Manager and other inter-departmental teams including Visitor Services, Marketing, Education, etc.

Founded in 1994 on the former Lowry Air Force Base in east Denver's historic Lowry Field neighborhood, Wings Over the Rockies is a non-profit community organization dedicated to unlocking dreams of flight through exhibits, local events, and educational programming. We are Colorado’s official Air & Space Museum having been recognized by CNN Travel as one of their 20 Best aviation museums in the world. Exploration of Flight (EoF) is our flight-focused educational extension. This 15-acre campus is located at the Centennial Airport where we offer showcase events with a variety of aircraft, aviation immersion programs, pilot ground training, and flight experiences. EoF is home to our Blue Sky Gallery exhibit and interactive aviation center featuring an airworthy fleet of civilian and military aircraft.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Fundraising
- Develop and execute a comprehensive giving strategy to meet Wings Over the Rockies’ annual fundraising goals
- Develop, lead, and promote annual fundraising campaigns including end-of-year giving, bi-monthly appeals, Colorado Gives Day, and other special events
- Identify and implement new and innovative fundraising opportunities
- Plan multi-channel strategies for the cultivation and acquisition of new donors
Donor Relations & Stewardship
- Responsible for the stewardship of all donors up to the $5,000 giving level
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with current and prospective donors
- Create and implement targeted communication strategies to engage donors
- Conceptualize, plan, and implement appreciation and recognition events for different donor constituencies throughout the year
- Design promotional campaign materials and draft content for donor communications in collaboration with the Marketing department
General Support
- Manage donor communications including acknowledgement letters, thank you notes, invites, and other stewardship activities
- Conduct donor surveys and recommend enhancements based on analysis of survey results
- Ensure prompt and personal donor recognition following the donor stewardship matrix
- Support donor recognition efforts including special mailings and impact reports
Database Management
- Ensure accurate and up to date entry of donor information into CRM (Altru)
- Report monthly on relevant fundraising KPI’s
- Track and analyze giving trends to support fundraising strategy

The Air & Space Museum operates in an 80-year-old aircraft hangar. Exploration of Flight is located at a busy regional airport. Environmental conditions may vary.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
- Minimum of three (3 ) years’ experience in development, fundraising, or nonprofit administration preferred
- Extensive knowledge of Blackbaud (Altru) CRM is highly preferred
- Analytical skills to assess program performance and identify means for growing revenues
- Proficient with Microsoft Office suite, Google Workspace, and basic computer software applications
- Outstanding organizational and problem-solving skills with ability to prioritize and execute multiple projects on tight deadlines
- Strong interpersonal communication, time management, and multi-tasking abilities
- Excellent organizational and planning skills with strong attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Able to communicate professionally and sensitively with a diverse audience and wide range of individuals, communities, and organizations
Salary : $600 - $75,000
