Description
To aid in the logistics of donations and deliveries for WINGS Pantry, Program and Resale Operations. The Donations and Delivery Coordinator will assist in the coordination of and participate in execution of pickups and deliveries as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
· Assist in the coordinated donation pick-ups and deliveries to all WINGS locations, including residential and other destinations as assigned.
· Collaborate with the Logistics and Pantry Teams to receive, organize and store donated items.
· Provide excellent service in a professional manner at all times to all customers, internal and external.
· Assist in organizing donation drives and events as needed.
· Maintain records of donations and deliveries as instructed.
· Attend and participate in meetings as required.
· Work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
· Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
· High school diploma or equivalent required.
· Prior experience in a delivery role is preferred.
· Valid Illinois driver’s license, transportation, automobile insurance, and a clean driving record required. Ability to drive agency vehicles as required.
· Ability to handle physical requirements to accomplish daily responsibilities, including but not limited to lifting up to 75 pounds using both hands/arms on a regular basis, climbing stairs, and standing for 8 hours.
