Position Summary:
Under the administrative and clinical supervision of the Director of Summit Programs, the Coordinator of Child and Adolescent Group Services is responsible for providing administrative supervision, support, and training to assigned staff members, as well as ensuring the utilization of evidenced-based practices, leading groups, helping to coordinate client case management, helping to optimize the client experience, ensuring departmental financial goals are achieved, ensuring safety is accounted for, ensuring compliance with departmental standards and regulations, and ensuring a healthy organizational culture is fostered.
Responsibilities Include:
- Provide supervision to assigned staff including, but not limited to, hiring, supervision, evaluation, disciplinary actions and termination of employees.
- Provide weekly individual and or group supervision as needed to assigned Child and Adolescent Group Services staff.
- Facilitate groups daily and model therapy concepts to staff members.
- Assist in identifying staff training needs and coordinate with Program Director to ensure appropriate training programs are implemented.
- Facilitate the implementation of clinical planning for clients as designed by the treatment team.
- Collaborate with parents, case managers, school personnel and other professionals to facilitate clients’ treatment progress.
- Oversight of day-to-day group programming including assuring the safety of clients and staff.
- Participate in research activities to provide for the evaluation of the program’s effectiveness and consumer satisfaction.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of the clinical record through the timely completion of assigned documentation in accordance with applicable licensing and accreditation regulations and standards.

- Bachelor’s Degree
