Position Summary: The Residential Treatment Program at Bellefaire JCB has a very attractive leadership and clinical role for a full-time Nurse Manager.The Nurse Manager is part of an interdisciplinary team of professionals who are expected to provide clinical expertise and oversight of clients within Residential Treatment. The Nurse Manager is responsible for overseeing patient care in the residential treatment division under the Health Clinic Department, making management and budgetary decisions, setting work schedules, coordinating meetings, and making personnel decisions.

Responsibilities Include:
- Leads the planning, implementation and evaluation of the nursing process, including recruitment, hiring, training, supervision, disciplinary actions, and termination of employees.
- Builds and retains a talented and inspired workforce by developing, engaging and empowering personnel to fulfill their potential.
- Promotes a positive patient experience and environment that supports family centered care reflective of the patient population.
- Collaborates as an integrated team by sharing information, best practices and results openly through practice in a professional governance model.
- Contributes to and facilitates strategic program growth, development and organizational change.
- Develops and implements departmental policies and procedures, and monitors operations to ensure maximum success in departmental goals.
- Accountable for ensuring regulatory standards are maintained.
- Uses evidence based practice and research to guide patient care through interdisciplinary collaboration.
- Treats, examines and renders care to patients clients in accordance with physician’s orders.
- Provides preventative and rehabilitative psychiatric nursing procedures.
- Accountable and responsible to the achievement of organizational and financial goals
- Committee involvement, participate with quality improvement initiatives
- Bachelor Degree in Nursing, BSN.
- Valid Ohio Registered Nurse license
- Sensitivity in relating to persons of varying backgrounds and demonstrated ability to work with diverse groups of people possessing various strengths, aptitudes and abilities.
- Ability to perform job responsibilities with a high degree of initiative and independent judgment.
- Demonstrated oral and written communication skills and effective interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using Agency computer systems and software as required performing essential job functions.
- Practical and creative problem solving skills.
