FT Awake Overnight Direct Support Professional (DSP) - $19.75 / hrWingspan Life Resources has an opening for a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide Awake Overnight services to people with developmental and other disabilities in our group homes across the Twin Cities Metro area. Experience is not required, and paid training is provided.

• This group home is currently located in Saint Paul. The residents will be moving to Woodbury in 2025. All prospective candidates must be able to work at both locations.Schedule : Saturday - Tuesday : 11 : 00 PM - 9 : 00 AMWhat You Will Do : DSPs are the foundation of Wingspan's services. DSPs assist residents with daily routines; home care; personal care such as showering and bathing, brushing teeth; and medical administration. They build relationships, implement individual program plans, participate with our clients in recreational activities, and perform other duties as necessary. • 18 years of age or older
• High School Diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent
• Demonstrated ability to clearly communicate, read, and write in English
• Must be comfortable with and willing to assist with client's personal cares such as bathing, showering, brushing teeth, etc.
• Must be comfortable using a computer
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50lb
• Ability to complete tasks such as shoveling, mowing, vacuuming, shopping, and pushing a wheelchair.
• The ability to successfully pass a background check as determined by the Department of Human Services
• A valid Driver's License, reliable transportation with proof of auto insurance, and the ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Check
