WHAT WE’LL NEED | Wingstop is seeking a visionary and results-oriented Solutions Architect within our Digital /eCommerce space, to lead technological enhancements and product capability driving customer satisfaction. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, architecting innovative technology solutions for our proprietary Digital/eCommerce platform. You will play a key role in design and lead the architectural foundation and development principles needed to support both major platform implementations/upgrades. The ideal candidate is passionate about designing and leading best-in-bread foundational and next generation architecture solutions for large scale, global implementations. Additionally, we’ll need you to: - Create solution and technical architectures that meet scalability, high availability, disaster recovery and security requirements for large-scale, mission critical Digital/eCommerce platform
- Define deployment configurations that ensures software meets the needs of very large (regional, national, and international) enterprises
- Propose technical solutions to business problems while refining and designing software components in line with technical requirements
- Work closely and drive development teams to drive desired company objectives for systems architecture (encompassing platform, high availability, scalability, security, and the use of third-party software)
- Explore and examine data, integrations, and patterns to support the assessment, design, building, and maintenance of scalable platforms
- Advise IT management and technical staff with industry standards and best practices
- Work with system specialists to define operational procedures and best practices
- Identify and analyze technical debt in pre-existing systems and propose solutions to mitigate risks
- Understand security vulnerabilities, attacks, and ability to apply/implement appropriate controls or find new ones based on new technology being developed
- Provide technical guidance and expertise to developers, business and functional analysts, testing teams, compliance, and other IT team members.
- Provide documented technical design proposals, estimates, specifications, and maintenance guides.
- Stay on top of industry trends and best practice to continuously improve what we do and ensure our experiences are the best they can be. Help team conduct POC for new technology/solutions.
- Manage technology roadmaps, drive innovation by leading POC’s, and driving adoption of AI/ML based solutions.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED | - Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field; master’s degree preferred
- 10 years of experience in software development as senior engineer, technical lead
- 2 years of experience in a solution or technical architect role
- Strong experience in architecting large enterprise and eCommerce systems with high transaction volumes
- Experience working in Retail industry/QSR and eCommerce is highly preferred
- Experience in design principles like SOLID and design patterns.
- Experience defining architecture/development standards, patterns and accelerator for the development team.
- Ability to lead 4-5 developers to design solutions and conduct POCs.
- Hands on working on MACH (Microservices, APIs-first, Cloud-native, and Headless) architecture using C#/Java, Spring boot
- Solid experience with traditional RDBMS like MSSQL/Postgres or Oracle and NOSQL DB like Cassandra or MongoDB or Apache Ignite
- Development experience with full stack development using UI technologies like React/React Native or Native iOS/Android development and backend using microservices architecture.
- Deep understanding & a strong hands-on experience of Cloud Native architecture using AWS or Azure or GCP that includes design principles, microservices, containerization, serverless computing, Kubernetes, networking, data storage, routing, caching & DevOps practices
- Proficiency in API security frameworks, API GW, token management and user access control including OAuth, JWT, etc.
- Hands on experience debugging production software, monitoring tools like AppDynamics or any similar one.
- Ability to work in an Agile / SCRUM environment.
- Strong writing and communication skills.
