We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Kitchen Team Member to join our team. Responsibilities:
- Assist with food preparation, including chopping vegetables, preparing sauces, and assembling dishes
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely service
- Assist with dishwashing and maintaining cleanliness of kitchen utensils, equipment, and workstations
- Support the kitchen staff in organizing inventory and stocking supplies
- Provide assistance during banquets or special events as needed
- Uphold high standards of customer service by ensuring prompt and friendly interaction with guests
- Perform other duties as assigned by the kitchen manager or supervisor
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant setting is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods of time and lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds)
