An Assistant General Manager responsibilities include:
- Motivates, coaches and develops team
- Work in a fast-paced team driven atmosphere
- Interface with customers and provide an exceptional experience
- Perform all tasks related to opening and closing of store
- Scheduling, forecasting, labor analysis
- Food cost and inventory
- Fill in for Manager in all capacities when needed
- Assists with employee training
Qualifications for the job:
- Open availability (including holidays, weekends, opening and closing shifts) - Required
- At least 2 years of restaurant management - Required
- NY Food Handlers Card - Required
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must be able to maintain a reliable schedule
- Education: High school degree or equivalent
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Able to stand for prolonged periods of time
