Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to join our team. Duties
- Maintain accurate financial records by recording all transactions in the general ledger.
- Perform account reconciliations to ensure that all financial data is accurate and up-to-date.
- Assist with budgeting processes and provide insights for financial planning.
- Prepare tax returns and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
- Process payroll accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with applicable laws.
- Conduct account analysis to identify discrepancies or areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with public accounting firms during audits and provide necessary documentation.
- Generate financial reports to support management decision-making.
- Monitor cash flow and assist in managing accounts payable and receivable.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role within accounting.
- Proficiency in accounting software, particularly Xero, is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of budgeting, tax preparation, payroll processing, and account reconciliation.
- Familiarity with public accounting practices is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to analyze financial data and provide insights for improvement.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and external partners.
- A degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred but not mandatory.
