Job Description:
In this role as a lab technician, you will set up and manage a large-scale hardware rack testing environment for various firmware projects. You will be managing a myriad of devices and fixtures which run on these device clusters. You are expected to provide physical in-lab support to enable automated system testing on these racks. You will work with the firmware and hardware engineering teams in setting up the test hardware configurations. You will also work with test automation team in trouble-shooting test environment issues and in improving lab automations.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 2 years of building and managing lab with devices.
- Technical support experience or equivalent working knowledge in computer hardware and networking.
- Experience in managing MacOS and iOS devices.
- Experience in automating device management using Python, bash and Ansible.
- Strong in diagnosing and resolving system and user-level issues in MacOS, iOS or Linux.
- A team-player in nature with good communications and documentations skills.
