Risk Analyst – Construction Industry

Position Overview:

In this multifaceted role, the Risk Analyst will perform multiple duties related to assessing risks, determining actual insurance coverage and manage the claims process and the comprehensive insurance program. The ideal candidate for this role will have the ability to independently organize, prioritize, and make decisions with the daily workload.

Objectives & Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular policy reviews, research and compile loss trends.
• Identify risk exposure and analyze insurance needs providing optimum coverage, costs and claim settlements.
• Partner with insurance brokers to obtain quotes for new policies and coordinate policy renewals.
• Present quotes and data to executive team.
• Manage from beginning to end the claims process through resolution and settlement.
• Partner with construction and other vendors to ensure proper completion of repairs.
• Partner with managers to process incident reports timely.
• Partner with onsite property teams on damage waivers.
• Execute special projects, administrative duties and other assigned tasks.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in related field.
• 3-5 years of insurance experience.
• Familiar with all aspects of insurance including workers compensation and business liability.
• Familiar with construction and renovation projects.
• Strong communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently.
• Team-oriented with strong work ethic.
