Slot Floor Attendant

JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for maintaining good customer service concerning operation of machines within the established standards of the department and shall operate such in accordance with the ordinance adopted by the Winnebago Gaming Commission and the Winnebago Tribal Council.

JOB DUTIES:

1. Reset minor malfunctions on slot machines.

2. Maintains security and accountability of funds entrusted.

3. Ensures all facilities and equipment are functioning properly within the department.

4. Greets customers and sees that players are properly hosted.

5. Verifies Open/Close and Buys for all Banks.

6. Maintains good customer relations.

7. Always perform duties in a positive and professional manner.

8. Must adhere to policies and procedures.

9. Performs designated fill duties as assigned.

10. Effects change transactions with customers.

11. Must attend all meetings and/or training as directed by management.

12. Performs all duties as assigned.

AUTHORITY AND SUPERVISORY CAPACITY

· Possesses authority needed to accomplish 1 – 12 above.

SIGNATURE AUTHORITY:

• Jackpot/Fill receipt
• Open/Close report
• Debit/Credit receipt
• Buy Sheet
• Slot Machine keys (door and jackpot reset)
• Machine access card
• Slots drop cabinet key with security escort when performing designated floor duties
• Forms W-2G, 5754 (multiple winners), & 8362 (Currency Transaction Report) When performing Designated Floor

ACCESS TO SENSITIVE AREAS:

• Slot machine interiors
• Slot repair shop

· Change Banks

• When performing duties as Designated Floor access to fill side of drop
• With Security escort in accordance with Internal Controls.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Comprehensive computer skills.
• Previous money handling experience preferred.
• Must have the mathematical skills to be proficient in balancing all banks and departmental documents.
• Basic knowledge of slot machine theory and operation required.
• Must have excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Good organizational and clerical skills required.
• Must be able to obtain gaming license.
• Bi-cultural experience preferred.
• Native American preference.

CONDITION OF EMPLOYMENT

1. Must have a telephone.

2. Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time.

3. Must be able to lift and carry a minimum of 50 lbs.

4. Must be able to interact successfully with associates and guests

5. Must be able to withstand a smoky environment for extended periods of time, with direct exposure to secondhand smoke.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $11.24 - $16.92 per hour
