Job Summary
Help and perform routine maintenance and make repairs in break down situations. This position performs preventive maintenance on equipment, forklifts, bobcats, hydraulic units, cranes, dust collectors, and other plant equipment.
This is a first shift position working Monday through Thursday, currently, from 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Pay: $18.00 - $20.00/HR.
Responsibilities:
Ø Repair industrial equipment, including lubricating, greasing, rotating or cleaning equipment.
Ø Load, unload, or move tools, materials, supplies, and parts to and from job locations.
Ø Perform assembly, disassembly, repair work or general maintenance.
Ø Prep the work area where electrical and mechanical activities are to be performed.
Ø Identify, report, and correct safety and environmental concerns.
Skills, Experience and Qualifications:
Ø Ability to learn and develop additional skills on the job.
Ø Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, working safely.
Ø This is a hands-on position. Ability to lift 50 lbs., work standing up for 8–10-hour shifts, climb ladder, and work on elevated surfaces safely.
Ø Flexible to work overtime as needed.
Ø 1-5 years working in an industrial and/or manufacturing environment is a plus.
Ø Knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and basic electrical systems is a plus.
