POSITION SUMMARY:
The Furniture Preparation Associate will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless integration of furniture and biminis into pontoon boats. This position involves meticulous preparation of furniture components, mounting hardware, electrical components, and other related elements for efficient installation by boat dealers and factory service technicians.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Furniture and Bimini Preparation:
- Prepare furniture and biminis according to specifications for installation into pontoon boats.
- Ensure all components are in excellent condition and meet quality standards.

Mounting Hardware Assembly:
- Assemble and organize mounting hardware required for furniture and bimini installation.
- Conduct quality checks to verify the accuracy and completeness of hardware components.

Electrical Component Readiness:
- Ensuring furniture and / or biminis are functionally and ready wire harness and or electrical component installation.
- Collaborate with the electrical team to troubleshoot and address any issues.

Inventory Management:
- Maintain accurate inventory records of furniture, bimini components, mounting hardware, and electrical parts.
- Communicate low-stock situations to the relevant departments for restocking.

Collaboration with Production Teams:
- Work closely with the production and assembly teams to ensure timely availability of furniture and bimini components.
- Communicate any discrepancies or quality concerns to the appropriate teams.
6. Quality Assurance:
- Conduct quality checks on all prepared components to ensure they meet company standards.
- Address and resolve any quality issues or defects before components are sent for installation.

Documentation:
- Complete detailed documentation for each set of prepared furniture and biminis.
- Record any modifications, adjustments, or special instructions for installation.

Team Collaboration:
- Collaborate with colleagues to streamline the preparation process and enhance efficiency.
- Provide support to other teams, as needed, to achieve overall manufacturing goals.

Safety Compliance:
- Supports a Barletta Safe culture by adhering to and advocating for the safest behaviors and proactively identifies opportunities to mitigate job-related risks and hazards.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Job requirements for our general production positions are as follows:
- At least 2 years' experience working in a team-focused manufacturing environment (preferred)
- Must have the ability to perform all physical requirements required of the position, including but not limited to: ability to stand, walk, push, pull, bend, kneel, climb, squat for 8 hours and lift upward of 40 lbs.
- Must possess good work ethic, positive attitude, and motivated to meet and / or exceed production goals.
- Ability to wear required PPE to support our Barletta Safe culture of “zero harm”.
- Ability to work flexible hours (overtime / weekends) if needed.
- Flexibility to take on additional assignments given by supervisor as required / needed to support production goals.
- Great attendance record and reliability
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug and background screening
