Primary Objective of Position: As a Sourcing Analyst, you will play a critical role in enhancing our supply chain efficiency by supporting strategic sourcing initiatives through data-driven insights. You will analyze market trends, supplier performance, and procurement data to identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize supplier relationships. The ideal candidate has a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and a passion for leveraging data to drive impactful business decisions.
Key Areas of Responsibility

Data Analysis & Insights:
- Collect, clean, and analyze procurement and supply chain data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Develop dashboards and reports to provide actionable insights for sourcing strategies and supplier performance.

Strategic Sourcing Support:
- Assist in supplier identification, evaluation, and selection processes.
- Conduct cost-benefit analyses, total cost of ownership (TCO) assessments, and scenario modeling.
- Support contract negotiations by providing data-backed recommendations.

Market Research & Benchmarking:
- Monitor market trends, industry best practices, and competitor activities to inform sourcing strategies.
- Benchmark supplier performance against industry standards.

Supplier Relationship Management:
- Collaborate with suppliers to gather performance data and address any issues.
- Support the development of supplier scorecards and performance improvement initiatives.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with procurement, finance, operations, and other departments to align sourcing strategies with business objectives.
- Support cross-functional teams with data-driven insights to improve supply chain processes.
- Performs other duties as assigned by the VP, Supply Chain, or Sourcing Team Lead.

Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Economics, or a related field.
- 2 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, supply chain, or data analysis roles.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel (advanced functions), Power BI, and Access.
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Infor XA, SAP, Oracle) and procurement tools (e.g., Ariba, Coupa) is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate in a team-oriented environment.
