What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warranty Recovery Admin position at Winnebago Industries Inc?
Primary Objective of Position:
Primary job function is to maximize warranty recovery efficiently. This will include interacting with suppliers, service, and our dealer network on warranty issues, along with sharing warranty information for quality improvement. This position assists and/or processes warranty claims to suppliers for reimbursement for supplier quality related issues addressed in the field via warranty invoices.
Key Areas of Responsibility
- Looking through Warranty recovery documentation
- Identifying, uploading, labeling, and downloading pictures and other potential attachments
- Assisting in warehouse to return parts, as needed
- Interacting with suppliers, Service, and contacts within our dealer network to resolve warranty issues
- Running reports, as needed, for tracking and informational purposes
- Assisting with and/or processing warranty claims to suppliers for reimbursement for supplier quality related issues addressed in the field via warranty invoices
- Other duties as assigned based on business need

- Must be able to prioritize and balance competing or changing priorities
- Must be able to read and interpret technical or informational documentation, such as a warranty claim, to determine cause and responsibility
- Must be proficient and comfortable with working with computers and technology
- Must be proficient at being able to move between digital platforms and moving information from one to another
- Proficiency in Microsoft and Mainframe strongly preferred
- Some level of Quality or manufacturing experience preferred
- Experience with purchased parts, particularly Winnebago purchased parts, preferred
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Experience with warranties or collections would be a plus
