Primary Objective of Position: Analyze, design, and implement IT related solutions to ensure the business’ systems and applications meet the business’ requirements.

- Interviews users to gather necessary information about application needs.
- Analyzes user needs and designs efficient and effective software solutions.
- Develops detailed specifications, including flowcharts and diagrams.
- Codes, configures, and modifies software applications based on design specifications.
- Customizes off-the-shelf software to meet specific business requirements.
- Plans and conducts thorough testing of applications to ensure functionality, performance, and security.
- Identifies and addresses any bugs or issues through debugging and troubleshooting.
- Assists in the deployment of applications and software updates.
- Coordinates with IT teams and end-users to ensure a smooth transition of applications deployed.
- Provides training to end-users on how to effectively use the applications.
- Offers ongoing support to address user concerns, troubleshoot issues, and optimize user experience.
- Maintains comprehensive documentation of applications, including technical specifications, user manuals, and system changes.
- Works closely with other IT professionals, such as software developers, database administrators, and system analysts, to ensure seamless integration and functionality.
- Stays informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.
- Recommends and implements improvements to enhance the performance and efficiency of existing applications.
- Ensures applications comply with security policies and standards while implementing measures to safeguard sensitive data and information.
- Evaluates and recommends third-party applications as needed.
- Willingness to take on complex application problems, as well as day-to-day KTLO responsibilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Adept at training others in the use of applications developed.
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams as well as independently.
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective teamwork.
- Comfortable with learning multiple application platforms and how they interface with one another amongst ERP, MRP, PLM & CRM solutions.
- Familiar with software change control processes & best practices.
- SQL or other relational database management maintenance & troubleshooting experience preferred.
- Ability to think critically and long term about maintaining, upgrading, and migrating application solutions.
- Ability to adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
- Good project management skills.
- Experience with Infor XA ERP, GitHub, Jira, Power BI, C#, and agile methodologies are helpful, but not required
- Degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
- At least three years’ experience in system analysis and design methodologies.
- Familiarity with database management systems.
- Hands-on experience developing customizing applications.
- Knowledge of server configurations, networking, and cloud computing.
- Proficient in the use of application testing methodologies and tools.
- Certifications in relevant technologies, software, or project management.
