Job Responsibilities
- Order and Credit Memo Processing: Accurately post service orders and credit memos in the company's system (Business Central). Ensure all transactions are properly documented and reconciled. This includes verifying pricing, quantities, and customer information.
- Dealer Contact Management: Maintain and update the dealer contact sheet, ensuring accuracy and accessibility of information for the service team. Track dealer information, communication history, and other relevant data.
- Internal Warranty Claim Entry: Efficiently enter internal warranty claims into the Business Central system. Ensure all required information is complete and accurate, including customer details, boat information, description of the issue, and supporting documentation.
- Warranty Claim Analysis: Analyze warranty claim data to identify trends, patterns, and potential areas for improvement. Prepare reports and summaries of warranty claim activity, highlighting key metrics such as claim frequency, cost, and resolution time. This includes identifying potential product issues or areas for improvement in manufacturing or service processes.
- Reporting and Data Management: Generate reports on key service and warranty metrics. Maintain accurate records and databases related to service orders, warranty claims, and dealer information.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the service manager, technicians, and other team members to ensure smooth workflow and efficient processing of warranty claims. Communicate effectively with dealers regarding warranty claim status and resolution.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement in warranty administration and transaction processing. Contribute to the development and implementation of best practices.
- Proven experience in a service administration, warranty administration, or similar role.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills with the ability to manipulate data through Pivot tables and other means of data analysis.
- Excellent mathematical and numerical skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Proficiency with computer software, especially ERP systems (experience with Business Central is highly preferred).
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience in the marine industry is a plus, but not required.
