Job Summary
Winnebago Mental Health Institute (WMHI), located near Oshkosh WI, is looking to hire a full-time HVAC Refrigeration Specialist Adv to typically work 7:00am - 3:30pm Monday - Friday, including weekends on rotation and on-call hours. WMHI is a part of the Department of Health Services (DHS), Division of Care and Treatment Services (DCTS) and is a psychiatric hospital providing quality mental health services to children, adolescents, and adults.
As a HVAC/Refrigeration Specialist – Advanced, you will be responsible for the following duties:
- Diagnosing building mechanical problems and insuring satisfactory operation of building systems.
- Identifying, correcting, reporting, and communication building operational and maintenance needs.
- Performing repairs on commercial equipment and appliances.
- Performing scheduled and unscheduled preventative maintenance actions on equipment.
- Measuring airflows and balancing.
- Acting as lead worker and overseeing work performed by co-workers, LTE’S, and contractors.
- Working with engineering and management to maximize conservation and energy efficiency.
- Reviewing project plans and blueprints for future installations or upgrades.
Minimally qualified applicants will have:
Must have a valid driver's license;
Experience working with HVAC equipment.
Universal Refrigeration License or ability to obtain within one year of hire.
Experience working with and repairing Kitchen equipment (e.g. bread slicer, ovens, and Steam kettles).
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $27.09 - $31.27 per hour
