Winnebago Industries, Inc. has an immediate need for an experienced candidate to fill a Purchasing Agent position. This position will be based at Winnebago’s Middlebury, Indiana location.
Position Description: Analyze supply/demand to order and reschedule complex, critical production material to ensure uninterrupted supply which supports strategic initiatives.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
- Purchase/reschedule production material to meet production needs
- Work cross-functionally to identify and execute strategic initiatives to improve cost, quality, and delivery
- Manage complex, critical components to ensure production continuity
- Coordinate timing of engineering changes and material disposition to minimize excess/obsolete material
- Follow up with suppliers to confirm on-time purchase order delivery
- Establish and maintain professional relationships with internal and external business partners
- Identify opportunities for efficiencies and process improvements

Experience and Education:
- Prior experience in Purchasing Agent role (5 years preferred)
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft applications including Excel (intermediate or higher capabilities)
