Job Summary:
Winner Subaru Volkswagen is seeking a friendly and professional Part-Time Automotive Receptionist to join our team. As the first point of contact for our customers, you will play a key role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our automotive service department. This position offers flexible hours and the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Greeting & Assistance: Greet customers warmly, answer phone calls, and direct them to the appropriate department or technician.
- Appointment Scheduling: Schedule service appointments, manage the calendar, and confirm appointments as needed.
- Check-In & Check-Out: Assist customers with vehicle drop-offs and pickups, ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed accurately.
- Answering Inquiries: Provide general information about services offered, pricing, and estimated service times.
- Data Entry & Documentation: Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, service history, and vehicle information.
- Cashier Duties: Process payments for services rendered and handle cash, credit, or debit transactions accurately.
- Maintaining Reception Area: Keep the reception area clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies.
- Coordination with Service Team: Communicate customer needs and service updates to mechanics and technicians, ensuring a smooth workflow.
- Customer Follow-Up: Follow up with customers to confirm satisfaction with services provided and remind them of upcoming maintenance needs.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Some college coursework or certifications in office administration or customer service is a plus.
- Experience: Previous experience in a customer service or receptionist role is preferred but not required. Automotive industry experience is a bonus.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be friendly, approachable, and able to effectively interact with customers, vendors, and staff.
- Organizational Skills: Strong multitasking abilities with attention to detail. Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Technical Proficiency: Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, email, scheduling software). Familiarity with phone systems and customer management software is an advantage.
- Time Management: Ability to manage and schedule appointments efficiently, ensuring smooth operations for the team.
- Professional Appearance: Must present a professional image, as you will be the first point of contact for customers.
- Team Player: Ability to work well in a collaborative team environment.
