Outside Sales Representative - Asian Food retail/wholesale

Title: Sales Representative / Account Manager

Rate: $25-$40 per hour (depending on experience) Profit sharing bonus

Reports to: VP of Sales and Marketing and Sales Manager

Classification: Full-time, office hours: Flex Schedule

Location: South El Monte, CA, and remote with regular travel

Job Description

· Achieve and maintain rapport with clients and work to give them the best possible service

· Be knowledgeable about the products.

· Receive requests for quotations, orders and lead times from customers. Make quotations on standard products, write orders and relay pertinent order information to customers

· Present and pitch new products to customers

· Establish new accounts and leads

· Coordinate with other departments (i.e. Customer service, VP of Operations, Accounts Receivable, etc.) in handling purchase orders and providing service to customers

· Maintain files of active orders

· Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports and making recommendations to management

· Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules and merchandising techniques.

· Additional duties as assigned by supervisor

The following skills will be trained or will receive higher pay depending on experience:

· Strong customer service and marketing skills

· Sound knowledge of proven sales processes

· A thorough understanding of grocery market conditions, experience in the grocery/food industry

· A proven track record in increasing sales

· Proficiency with applicable personal computer applications, including MS Word processing, MS Excel, and also acquire and maintain a working knowledge of sales materials ordering procedures and Winneram products.

· Laptop computer will be provided.

· Proficient in English (conversational Mandarin, Cantonese and/or Vietnamese - a huge plus)

· Sage and EOS traction trained – a plus

Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour
