What are the responsibilities and job description for the Parts and Warranty Administrator position at Winnisquam Marine?
Winnisquam Marine is looking for a Parts & Warranty Administrator to join our team! This is a year-round, full-time position primarily based at our Winni Marine location in Weirs Beach, Laconia, with weekly travel to our Belmont location. We take pride in our two strong service departments and a loyal customer base of HAPPY boaters!
Responsibilities:
- Track, organize, order, and pull parts for technicians.
- Process warranty and policy claims.
- Maintain a strong understanding of supplier warranty coverages.
- Communicate with employees and customers regarding applicable warranty coverage.
- Provide telephone support for the service department as needed.
- Oversee and enforce supplier warranty processes and guidelines.
- Assist in opening and closing repair orders as necessary.
- Work with technicians to verify product coverage before repairs begin.
- Conduct searches for open service letters or campaigns.
- Work directly with suppliers to provide necessary documentation.
- Track and maintain warranty claims.
- Manage the warranty parts return process to ensure complete closure of claims.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with suppliers, customers, and technicians.
- Ability to read and understand policies and warranty coverage.
- Mechanical background preferred.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Excellent communication and computer skills.
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Background check required.
- Drug test required.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
