Winnisquam Regional School District seeks a Math Interventionist who will collaborate with classroom teachers, paras and administration to support student learning and reduce the achievement gap. We are looking for a person who is passionate about teaching and learning and demonstrates the ability and skills to bring innovative ideas that will engage students in learning at every level. This teaching position will provide support for K-12 to monitor curriculum programs, collect and interpret data and communicate clear goals and standards for achievement. We want a professional who understands competency based education at a deep level and is able to ensure fidelity through implementation and monitoring. Job Description:
Will work with teachers, students and other educators in all areas indicated in this job description for grades K-12. This is a district-wide position;
Assist with data collection and analysis of student achievement;
Collaborate with teachers on assessment, data, and interventions for individual students;
Support teachers in the development of pre and post assessments to monitor student progress during intervention;
Collaborate with teachers using student data for intervention targets and the connections between intervention and tier I instruction to close learning gaps;
Instruct individual or small groups of students to provide educational interventions and progress monitoring if necessary;
Maintain records of interventions and progress monitoring to insure process fidelity;
Attend team/parent meetings as required; provide input to teams regarding student academic strengths and weaknesses;
Provide data to the school teams and participate in decisions about student progress;
Utilize tracking system to maintain lists of students participating in interventions; and
Perform related duties and responsibilities as requested by the Director of Curriculum, Instruction & Innovation.
Qualifications:
Certified by the NH State DOE as a Math teacher in the applicable grade levels and subject areas;
Have at least five years experience working in associated subject areas;
Have at least three years experience with Competency Based Education (CBE) practice/design; and
Preferred: Experience with leadership related to curriculum, instruction, and assessment.

Contract Length: Per the WRTA Collective Bargaining Agreement (Teacher contract)
