What are the responsibilities and job description for the Clinic Assistant-Family Med (LPN or CMA) position at WinnMed?
WinnMed is seeking a 0.9 FTE (36 hours per week) Clinic Assistant to support a Clinic Family Practice doctor . This position is responsible for providing direct assistance to the physician or other healthcare provider. The Clinic Assistant greets and rooms patients in a caring and efficient manner. Also assists with examinations and procedures as requested by the health care provider and completes documentation of all pertinent patient data in accordance with organizational standards.
Clinic Open Hours: 7:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., Monday - Friday
- Current license to practice as an LPN in the State of Iowa or completion of an accredited Certified Medical Assistant program with current certification in the State of Iowa required
- Previous experience in a clinic setting preferred
- BLS Certification required
- Must be able to read, speak, and write fluent English
