WinnMed is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join our WinnMed Retail Pharmacy team!
The Pharmacy Technician, under direct supervision of a registered pharmacist, will support the WinnMed Retail Pharmacy by performing duties including but not limited to medication order entry, medication ordering and inventory management, medication synchronization, adherence packaging, customer service and prescription filling.
This position is a part time, as needed position (PRN). Business hours are: Monday - Friday, 9:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.; Saturday, 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Sunday and major holidays - closed.
Please note the Saturday shift will rotate equally amongst pharmacy technicians. 2 Saturdays on, 3 Saturdays off.
Required
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Certification from the Pharmacy Certification Board and Registration with Iowa Board of Pharmacy Examiners
- Basic data entry and/or computer skills
- Must be eighteen years of age or older.
Preferred
- Previous retail pharmacy experience
