What are the responsibilities and job description for the RN - Surgery position at WinnMed?
WinnMed is seeking to hire a full-time Surgery RN to join our growing Surgery Department . The Surgery RN is responsible for providing patient care to a variety of surgical patients. The successful candidate must be highly motivated, possess excellent interpersonal skills, and be a team player. Position is primarily 8-hour shifts Monday - Friday, 7:00a - 3:30 pm. Hours may fluctuate slightly based on surgery case load (as early as 6:00am). Position includes on-call rotation, approximately 1 nights per week and every 6th-7th weekend . Holiday Call rotation included. 1.0 FTE, 40 hours per week.
- Current IA RN license
- At least 2 years RN experience
- At least one year of Operating Room experience strongly preferred
- Scrub experience strongly preferred
- American Heart Association BLS required
- American Heart Association ACLS and PALS required within 6 months of hire
- Surgery Response Time must be within 30 minutes of WinnMed while on call or make arrangements to stay within 30 minutes
