Maintenance Production Manager for Landscape Contracting Company

WinnScapes, Inc. is currently seeking a full-time Maintenance Production Manager. This position offers the opportunity to work with crews and oversee a variety of projects including mowing and maintaining both commercial and residential properties along with routine maintenance projects including spring clean ups, pruning etc.

Job Description:

• Manage safety, quality and productivity of work at sites and/or shop/yard
• Supervise, coordinate, and schedule the day to day work activities of 4-5 mowing crews consisting of 2 to 3 employees each
• Operate various tools and equipment while supervising crews, including: heavy equipment, dump trucks, skid loader, chainsaws, jackhammers, various mowers, lawn care equipment, shovels, hammers, etc.
• Create and complete training courses for maintenance foremen on various maintenance tasks & techniques, mowing, weeding, string trimming etc.
• Participate in all snow removal activities
• Supervise and perform preventative maintenance on tools and equipment by conducting inspections, lubricating, and cleaning on a daily basis.
• Check foreman paperwork and submit all required paperwork on a daily basis, including: crew daily forms, time and materials summaries, etc.
• Complete and submit monthly inventory of materials and equipment
• Comply with all company policies and regulations
• Maintain and enforce standards of cleanliness and organization in assigned crews’ trucks, trailers, equipment, jobsites, and shop/yard areas
• Ensure that all work activities are carried out in a safe and efficient manner, and that all crew members are in compliance with government and company standards
• Communicate with customers and crews in a professional and courteous manner
• Comfortable in working well with a team, as well as being an individual performer in a fast paced office and in field environment.

Work Conditions:

• Ability to work with hand tools, power tools, small engine equipment, heavy equipment, and materials
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. repeatedly through an entire work shift
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Work near heavy equipment and other vehicles on a regular basis
• Work outdoors in various conditions including heat and humidity, rain, dust, noise, and cold
• Flexible working hours including occasional weekend work

Experience and/or education is a must for this position, however if one or the other is lacking, training is available. Positive attitude and wiliness to learn cannot be taught and will hold weight in the salary determination. Salary will be based on level of expertise in the landscape field and ability to perform all aspects of the job that are required.

Essential Position Requirements:

• Regular travel to jobsite required.
• Ability to work additional and/or nonstandard office hours as required, such as the occasional evening/weekend.
