What are the responsibilities and job description for the Activities Assistant - Part-Time position at Winnwood Retirement Community?
We are currently in need of an Activities Assistant to assist the Activities Director in implementing our activities program with our residents and their families. As the Activities Assistant you will be responsible for assisting and leading activities. This role works closely in coordination with other departments. You will report directly to the Activities Director.
Qualifications :
- Must be at least 25 years of age
- Strong verbal/written communication skills.
- Excellent organization skills, attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, vendors and the general public.
- Must have compassion for and desire to work with the elderly.
- Must meet all health requirements, including TB, and pass background checks.
