Position Overview:
The Clinic Pharmacy Cashier functions as a sales clerk under the supervision of the pharmacists and pharmacy technicians. Responsible for providing excellent customer service at the cash register area and drive-up window. Responsibilities includes operating the cash register, getting signatures from the customers and identification as required by law. The Clinic Pharmacy Cashier provides the highest level of customer service to a wide variety of internal and external customers. They are responsible for greeting and acknowledging patients/customers that enter the pharmacy or present at the drive up window.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- The Clinic Pharmacy Cashier retrieves any needed information from patients as needed to fill prescription orders. They retrieve finished prescriptions ready for pick up as requested by the patient or patient representative, and/or over-the-counter items and completes transaction of sale.
- The Clinic Pharmacy Cashier also helps in the packaging of delivered and mailed prescriptions or over-the-counter items as well as stocking and cleaning the pharmacy.

- High School Diploma or Equivalent

- Previous cash register experience is preferred
