Custodian

Winpak Facility Services is seeking a Janitor/Custodian to join their Facility Maintenance Team based out of Senoia, GA on a Shift Type: Full-time, Day Shift. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining clean and safe facilities to ensure a safe work environment that aligns with Winpak’s high standards of cleanliness and operational excellence. Your contributions will help ensure that our buildings and grounds are secure, well-maintained, and meet all regulatory and safety guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting floors, furniture, and fixtures.
  
  • Clean and service restrooms, ensuring supplies are stocked and all surfaces are sanitized.
  • Gather and dispose of waste materials, ensuring proper waste management.
  • Conduct inspections of buildings and grounds to ensure security and cleanliness.
  • Scrub, strip, sanitize, wax, and buff floors using power equipment.
  • Wash windows, walls, ceilings, and other surfaces, including the use of ladders.
  • Maintain inventory of cleaning and toiletry supplies to ensure adequate stock.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
  
  • One year of experience in janitorial services, building maintenance, or a similar role.
  • Knowledge of cleaning methods, tools, and equipment, including floor buffers and vacuums.
  • Understanding of occupational health and safety standards, including chemical handling.
  • Ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively with team members.
  • Ability to lift and move objects up to 75 lbs and perform physical tasks such as bending, lifting, and walking.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with building security protocols and safety procedures.
  
  • Experience using cleaning machines such as floor buffers and carpet shampooers.
  • Experience handling hazardous materials and adhering to safety standards.
  • Certification in cleaning procedures or related areas.

Additional Details:

• This position is for Day Shift.
  
  • Required to perform occasional overtime and on-call shifts as needed.
  • This is a 100% on-site position.
