Senior Director, WinShape Marriage

Overview

Scope of Position: Provides leadership and direction to the WinShape Marriage ministry in alignment with the Foundation’s mission, vision and values. Leads the Marriage team, working in close partnership with the Guest Experience, Operations and Support Services teams in order to create experiences where Jesus can build, restore or transform marriages. Serves as a member of the Serve and Lead Team (SLT), working across the Foundation to continually explore ways we can strengthen individuals, marriages and families. Creates an environment where other marriage ministry leaders can develop, grow and flourish.  

Reports to: President, WinShape Foundation  

WinShape Foundation is a Biblically-based Christian non-profit organization that seeks to glorify God by creating transformational, Christ-centered experiences for people in every stage of life. We do this through five core ministries that each use scriptural truth to offer summer camp, foster care, team and leader development, college student discipleship, and marriage enrichment. Responsibilities

• Leads with a servant’s heart by demonstrating commitment to serving and supporting others by prioritizing the needs of staff and guests, cultivating trust, and fostering a culture of care and collaboration. 

• Directs the development of Marriage ministry annual goals and objectives 

• Coaches and develops staff to help them achieve their annual goals and development plans in alignment with ministry goals and objectives 

• Develops and maintains strategic relationships with other marriage ministries in order to maximize our collective Kingdom impact and broaden ministry reach.  

• Serves as the spokesperson for WinShape Marriage by articulating the ministry’s vision and objectives  

• Participates on the WinShape SLT by providing insight, strategic direction, and contributing to Foundation-wide decision-making.  

• Maintains overall responsibility and accountability for the WinShape Marriage annual budget, ensuring wise stewardship of resources  

Qualifications

• A self-professing Christ-follower, who holds the Bible as the source of truth 

• Over 10 years of marriage ministry experience 

• Models a healthy Christ-centered marriage 

• Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams, manage budgets and execute ministry plans effectively 

• Works closely with Marketing and Communications to promote services and programs to enhance visibility through digital marketing, content marketing, events and podcasts 

• Collaborates with the Operations and Guest Experiences teams to ensure alignment of service level expectations related to shared space, offerings and services 

• Builds and sustains partnerships with other WinShape ministries (e.g., WinShape Camps, WinShape Homes, WinShape Leadership. WinShape College) to provide holistic, wrap-around care to guests across a variety of ministry needs 

• Fosters trust, collaboration, and empowerment while prioritizing the needs of team members and the organization. 

• High level of initiative, self-awareness, and a collaborative mindset 

• Skilled at problem-solving, anticipating needs, and managing multiple priorities with discretion and confidentiality 

• Strong organizational, planning and time-management skills 

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote)  

• Must have an acceptable driving record 

Preferences: 

• An advanced degree in counseling and/or practical theology 
• Licensure or certification as a therapist
