Position Overview:
The Sales Manager is responsible for leading a team of B2B Sales Representatives while maintaining a personal book of business. This role oversees all aspects of the sales process, growth, and cycles to support individual staffing offices. The position includes managing a dynamic team, providing training, and driving revenue through sales growth activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales and Business Development:
- Develop and manage a personal book of business, driving revenue growth.
- Support sales representatives in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
- Build multi-level relationships within client organizations to ensure retention and expansion.
- Attend networking events to enhance visibility and build professional connections.
- Spend quality time in the field with all sales team members.
- Provide sales training and development to support company initiatives and growth.
- Mentor and train new and existing sales team members.
- Team Leadership:
- Select, hire, train, and develop a high-performing sales team.
- Provide hands-on coaching and counseling to ensure team success.
- Establish and communicate clear goals, objectives, and incentives.
- Plan for seasonal peaks in demand, ensuring adequate recruitment efforts.
- Sales Team Management:
- Oversee daily sales team activities, ensuring efficiency and productivity.
- Analyze weekly sales performance metrics and review monthly P&L statements against objectives.
- Monitor KPIs and metrics to ensure continued productivity.
- Team Culture:
- Foster a sense of urgency, professionalism, and accountability within the team.
- Lead by example in representing the company’s values and mission.
- Other Duties:
- Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by senior leadership.
- Recruiting and Client Relations:
- Partner with recruiting teams to ensure cohesive service to client needs.
- Conduct regular client meetings to ensure satisfaction with placements and services.
- Contact current and former clients to secure new job orders and strengthen relationships.
Qualifications and Attributes:
- Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Previous experience in the staffing industry required.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; CRM software experience preferred.
- Leadership and Sales Skills:
- Proven ability to manage, motivate, coach, and train a team.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
