About the Role:

As an Overnight Maintenance Specialist, youll play a vital role in ensuring the hotel remains in excellent condition during nighttime hours. Whether it's responding to late-night maintenance calls or ensuring systems are running efficiently for the morning rush, your efforts will ensure that every guest wakes up to a flawless stay.

What Youll Do:

• Deliver Outstanding Guest Service (Even After Hours): Be ready with a warm attitude and quick solutions, helping any guests who need assistance during the night.
• Be a Jack-of-All-Trades: Conduct nightly inspections and assist with preventative maintenancewhether its replacing light bulbs or patching up vinyl, youll keep things in working order while the hotel rests.
• Monitor and Maintain Systems Overnight: Keep essential systems (like HVAC, plumbing, and lighting) in check and respond quickly to any issues that arise during your shift.
• Take Care of the Pool: Perform nighttime pool checks and maintenance to ensure its sparkling and ready for the morning guests.
• Refurbish & Beautify: Quietly and carefully touch up guest areas and fixtureshelping keep everything fresh and guest-ready without disturbing anyone's sleep.
• Safety First: Conduct routine safety and security inspections of the property and respond to any after-hours emergencies or hazards.
• Work as a Team: Coordinate with the front desk and other overnight staff to ensure smooth communication and guest satisfaction.

Skills & Experience Were Looking For:

• Hands-On Experience: 23 years in a maintenance role or related experience, preferably in a hotel or 24/7 environment.
• Technical Know-How: Proficiency with HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing, carpentry, and general troubleshooting.
• Independent Problem Solver: Comfortable making decisions and solving issues during off-hours when others might be off duty.
• Reliable Team Player: Even on the night shift, collaboration matters. A positive, proactive attitude is a must.
• Tech-Savvy: Ability to use digital systems for tracking maintenance work and reporting issues.

Physical & Environmental Demands:

• Must be able to bend, kneel, reach, and lift heavy loads.
• Comfortable working overnight in varying indoor/outdoor temperatures.
• Ability to be on your feet for long hours and respond to both visual and aural cues.
• Possible exposure to secondhand smoke and other environmental factors in and around the hotel.
