Key Responsibilities
- Lead with a Splash! Supervise and inspire the front desk team, ensuring every guest receives top-tier service from check-in to check-out.
- Guest Satisfaction Champion: Take ownership of the poolside guest experience by addressing any concerns, resolving issues quickly, and ensuring total guest satisfaction.
- Master of Operations: Oversee daily operations, including reservations, cash handling, and room assignments, ensuring everything runs seamlessly at the front desk.
- Team Leadership: Manage, train, and motivate front desk staff, ensuring they’re always prepared and working at their best. You'll lead by example, guiding the team through the fast-paced and exciting poolside environment.
- Financial Stewardship: Help manage department budgeting, forecasting, and revenue goals. Review daily reports, rate calendars, and inventory to maximize profitability.
- Dynamic Scheduling: Stay on top of lobby traffic and adjust staffing levels to maintain smooth operations, especially during peak poolside moments.
- Conduct Meetings & Trainings: Lead daily pre-shift meetings to ensure everyone is on the same page and equipped to provide top-notch service.
- Guest Relations Master: Investigate and resolve any guest complaints with patience, tact, and a calm demeanor, ensuring that all concerns are handled swiftly.
- Safety and Security: Keep a watchful eye on both guest safety and property security, ensuring a secure and enjoyable environment for everyone.
- Marketing & Promotion: Implement corporate marketing initiatives and upsell poolside services, ensuring that guests are aware of all the fun amenities and events happening at the pool.
- Collaborate Across Departments: Work closely with other departments to guarantee smooth coordination and that all guest needs are met.
- Previous Hospitality Leadership Experience: Experience in supervising or leading a team in a fast-paced environment is a plus.
- Excellent Communication Skills: You’ll be the voice of the poolside, so it’s important to be able to communicate clearly and confidently with both staff and guests.
- Problem Solver Extraordinaire: Ability to handle guest complaints, operational challenges, and staffing issues with grace and diplomacy.
- Organizational Mastery: Strong skills in scheduling, inventory management, and financial oversight, with the ability to multitask in a high-energy setting.
- Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in using computer systems for reservations, guest registration, and reporting.
