Title: Youth Worker

Location: 440 SE Grape St., Winston, OR
Position Summary: The primary focus for this position will be the assistance to the Teen Center. Supervising students, engaging teens in activities on a regular basis. Outside supervision of students, physical activities, tennis, basketball, pickleball, flag football, etc.
Essential Responsibilities (to include, but not limited to):
- Must like outdoor activities.
- Provide direct supervision to youth enrolled in the Winston Community Teen Center and related youth programs.
- Ability to multi task
Position Requirements:
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- Working knowledge of social service theories related to positive youth development.
- 18 years of age or older, at beginning of service term.
- U.S. citizen, national or lawful permanent resident.
- Possession of a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to commit to the full term of service for which they are applying.
- Must successfully pass a criminal history background check
- Regular and reliable attendance a MUST
- Reliable transportation
- Bi-Lingual a plus but not required - Sign Language ASL/ESL
- Outgoing
- Energetic
- Ability to keep up with Teen age students
