What You’ll Do
As an Outside Sales Representative at our new location in Denton, TX, you will play a crucial role in expanding our customer base, driving revenue, and strengthening relationships with contractors, municipalities, and engineers. You’ll be the face of Winston-Cox Waterworx in the field, identifying opportunities, solving customer challenges, and ensuring they have the right waterworks and utility products when and where they need them.
- Develop and manage relationships with contractors, municipalities, engineers, and other key industry players.
- Identify new business opportunities and create strategies to drive growth.
- Provide consultative sales solutions, helping customers select the right products for their projects.
- Serve as a trusted advisor, educating customers on industry trends, product innovations, and supply chain solutions.
- Collaborate with the inside sales and operations teams to ensure seamless order fulfillment.
- Regularly visit job sites and customer offices to build rapport and assess project needs.
- Maintain an in-depth understanding of inventory, pricing, and availability to provide real-time solutions.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets through strategic prospecting and relationship-building.

Qualifications
Required:
- Experience in outside sales, account management, or business development in an industrial, construction, or distribution setting.
- Proven ability to drive sales, build relationships, and close deals.
- Strong knowledge of waterworks, site utilities, or construction supply (preferred but not required).
- Ability to travel within the assigned territory to meet with customers.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Strongly Preferred:
- Experience using CRM tools to manage customer relationships and sales pipeline.
- A strong existing network in the waterworks or infrastructure space.
