JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Food Service Director will be responsible for all food service related business and food service personnel management. Duties include but not limited to -
- Overseeing monthly menus
- Ordering food, commodities, supplies
- Ensuring the district's program complies with all local, state and federal requirements
- Program renewals - CEP, SNP, SFSP, FSMC, CACFP (if applicable)
- Program RFP's
- Program purchasing
- Staff trainings
- ODE Administrative Reviews
- Farm to School grants, Equipment grants and other related grants
- CNP Web management
- Mealtime management
- Required site reviews
- Overseeing health inspection reports
- Wellness program
- All aspects of food service and other duties as assigned
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelors Degree in Business or Food Service related field
- Strong human relationship, communication and business managment skills
- At least 3 years experience in managing public school food service programs
