Join Our Team as a PBX Reservation Agent at WinStar World Hotel!
Are you a friendly and organized individual with a passion for providing exceptional service? We’re looking for a Reservation Agent to join our dynamic team! As a key part of our hotel operations, you’ll play a crucial role in creating memorable guest experiences by handling incoming calls, booking reservations, and ensuring every guest request is met with a smile.
$16 to $18 per hour DOE
What You’ll Do:
- Be the First Point of Contact: Answer calls with a welcoming and friendly attitude, always delivering top-notch customer service.
- Handle Reservations: Book, modify, and cancel reservations accurately and efficiently using our Reservation Management System (LMS).
- Provide Excellent Guest Support: Address inquiries on hotel services, room availability, and promotions, and ensure guest satisfaction from start to finish.
- Promote Hotel Services: Share the excitement of our amazing hotel offerings—like The Grill, Winning Picks, and Aces Lounge—with guests and encourage them to explore all we have to offer.
- Upsell Rooms & Packages: Maximize revenue by suggesting upgrades and promotional packages.
- Coordinate with Other Teams: Work closely with the Front Desk, Sales, and Food & Beverage teams to ensure seamless guest experiences and stay on top of arrivals, special requests, and group bookings.
- Stay Organized & Detail-Oriented: Keep track of guest requests, review daily booking reports, and ensure all reservations are properly entered and confirmed.
- Be a Problem Solver: Handle any changes, cancellations, or special requests with a solution-oriented approach, ensuring every guest feels valued and cared for.
- Be a Brand Ambassador: Represent the hotel’s high standards and services, and make sure every guest interaction is warm, professional, and memorable.
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong Communication Skills: You’ll need to be able to communicate clearly and professionally with guests, and have a friendly, helpful tone on the phone.
- Attention to Detail: Accuracy is key when inputting reservations and handling guest requests.
- Team Player: Collaborate with your colleagues across departments to create an outstanding experience for our guests.
- Adaptability: Be comfortable working in a fast-paced, sometimes high-pressure environment, while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Tech-Savvy: Experience with reservation systems (LMS, Delphi) is a plus, but we’ll provide training to help you succeed.
- Guest-Centric: A passion for hospitality and helping guests enjoy their stay!
Physical & Mental Demands:
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring manual dexterity, including operating office equipment like computers and fax machines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to work in varying temperatures and mental or physical stress while maintaining focus.
