About The Role
As a Maintenance Specialist, you'll play a crucial role in making sure every corner of the hotel shines. What You'll Do
- Deliver Outstanding Guest Service: You'll always be ready with a smile and a solution, treating guests with warmth and helping address their maintenance-related needs to keep them happy and satisfied.
- Be a Jack-of-All-Trades: Assist with preventative maintenance, from replacing ceiling tiles and light bulbs to patching vinyl—ensuring everything runs smoothly and to high standards.
- Take Care of the Pool: Maintain the hotel's pool by adjusting chemicals, cleaning filters, and monitoring pool maintenance logs—because who doesn't love a sparkling pool?
- Tackle Systems & Repairs: Help keep the hotel running by performing minor repairs on HVAC systems, electrical setups, plumbing, and other key areas.
- Refurbish & Beautify: Paint, repair, and restore furniture and fixtures to keep guest rooms looking fresh and inviting.
- Safety First: Be vigilant in identifying safety hazards and security concerns, ensuring a safe environment for both guests and staff.
- Work as a Team: Pitch in where needed, help out your teammates, and be part of a supportive and collaborative team environment.

- Hands-On Experience: 2-3 years in a maintenance role or related experience in a hotel or similar setting.
- Technical Skills: Comfort with HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing, carpentry, and basic mechanical troubleshooting.
- Problem Solver: You love figuring out solutions to everyday challenges—whether it's fixing an AC unit or patching up a wall, you've got it covered!
- Team Player: A positive, team-first attitude is key to this role. You'll work closely with other departments to ensure everything stays in tip-top shape.
- Tech-Savvy: You're comfortable using computers for maintenance requests, logging work orders, and keeping track of equipment repairs.
- Must be able to bend, kneel, reach, and lift heavy loads.
- Ability to work in varying temperatures (hot and cold), both indoors and outdoors.
- Must be able to work on your feet for long periods of time and respond to visual and aural cues.
