New Haven, CT is seeking 3 Interventional Radiology Technicians to join their team, ARRT certified, BLS, level 1 trauma teaching facility, 3,110 weekly at 40 hours, 2/27 start for 13 weeks with possible extension for the right fit.

Duties

- Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process and positioning them appropriately.
- Operate imaging equipment effectively to capture high-quality images for interpretation by physicians.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation related to imaging procedures.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals in a Level II Trauma Center environment to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Stay updated on advancements in medical imaging technology and techniques.
Qualifications
- Certification as a Radiologic Technologist from an accredited program.
- Current state licensure or certification as required.
- Proficiency in medical terminology related to radiology and anatomy knowledge.
- Experience with diagnostic radiology, including X-ray, mammography, PET scans, and nuclear medicine is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients and healthcare team members.
