Job Summary
The Project Manager will support the Winston Retail Creative Studio team with select creative projects, with vendor relations, procurement and production management. They will ensure that the quality of work, budgets, and deadlines are met while minimizing exposure and risk in each project.
Job Duties
- On-going ability to source new vendors across all types of projects
- Source and procure a variety of project elements (fixtures, furniture, props, etc.) within project budgets
- Negotiate costs and deliverables to provide our clients with the best possible outcome
- Manage Creative production/execution schedule and estimates for select projects
- Communicate all potential issues with timelines and budgets to assist in problem-solving
- Communicate effectively with the internal department team
- Select client interaction upon request for project execution/prototype or design installation
- Strategic, resourceful, and proactive in a reactive environment
- Creative input and knowledge of design direction to assist the Creative Team when required
- Manage creative invoice process
- Create timelines, workflow, due dates, and deliverables for projects
- Take design concept elements and work with company resources to find cost-effective solutions and options
- Ensure that products are produced on time, to a high standard of execution, track delivery, and meet budget guidelines.
- Strong sense of urgency and ambition to have an impact on the business
- Strong digital document creation skills with layout experience using PowerPoint to facilitate creative decks properly
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, set priorities, identify, and address problems, and meet deadlines
Experience and Benefits:

- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Proficient with Budget Management
- Suite 5 or Creative Cloud (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Acrobat)
- 6-8 years in a Project Management role at retail or wholesale, preferably in a creative/design environment
- Experience with process, design, and management capabilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Exemplary, proven relationships at retail a plus (department and specialty stores)
- Exemplary, proven relationships with production vendors a plus (department, specialty stores and mobile pop-ups)
