The QA Test Intern aims to gain a working knowledge of the company’s proprietary software development and deployment through backend testing. This position primarily focuses on testing software that supports the main business flow of the organization and reports to the NY Corporate Office two times per week. The position is temporary and requires full-time availability.

Job Summary
The QA Test Intern aims to gain a working knowledge of the company’s proprietary software development and deployment through backend testing. Responsibilities
Job Duties
- Test plan creation and manual test execution to include designing, developing, and executing test plans and test cases to ensure software is of high quality.
- Work to improve existing applications by providing feedback related to easier user navigation and overall utilization.
- Regularly work with the Project Manager and the Development Team to understand the software requirements and establish required test plans for software updates.
- Ensure documented requirements as set forth by the Development Team are accurate by completing a regular review of technical documentation.
- Identify, reproduce, and report defects through a formal bug tracking system (Jira) and work with the Engineering Team to isolate, debug, and resolve issues/anomalies.
- Participate in the review of software designs and specifications to ensure they are testable.
- Provide feedback on the usability of the system in test for application updates/evolutions.
- All other work related duties as assigned.

- BS/BA in Computer Science or a related field, or actively working towards a BS/BA in Computer Science
- Recent graduates who are within 6 months of their graduation are also eligible to apply
- Actively involved in extracurricular activities related to the field of study
