Job Title: Visual Merchandiser
Location: Glen Carbon, IL
Dates: Mid to late Feb 1 week (project-based)
Pay: $20 - $22.00 per hour (rate based on market and relevant experience)
Expected Hours: 40 hours (Monday-Friday)
Job Overview:
Winston Retail is hiring a visual merchandising team to collaborate with a leading sportswear retailer to assist in a store remodel. In this role, you will execute high-level merchandising displays in line with store standards, stocking, and styling mannequins.
Responsibilities:
- Assists in setting up apparel displays; updating fixture signing; and cleaning departments in areas that have been remodeled.
- Execute planograms to optimize product placement with apparel and hardline merchandise.
- Day-to-day engagement – professional and courteous interaction with Winston and store employees.
- A strong work ethic with the ability to work independently, or within a team environment.
- Submit store visit reports, including taking before and after photos and writing feedback, using our Winston App on a smart device.
- Ability to download and install an app on your smartphone, and upload reports via the Winston app.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand on feet the entire shift.
Experience:
- Proven experience in retail apparel merchandising or a related field is preferred.
- Familiarity with planograms and visual directives is essential.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- A keen eye for detail and creativity in presenting apparel and hardline merchandise.
