Position Overview
The Winston-Salem Barber School is seeking a highly organized and personable Admissions Coordinator to join our team. This position offers a Tuesday through Friday schedule, providing three days off each week. As a perk, the role includes a 5-day-a-week salary and paid time off, making it an attractive opportunity for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
- Computer Proficiency: Expert in Excel, Google Docs, texting software, and CRM management to efficiently manage admissions data and communication.
- Communication: Conduct initial phone interviews with prospective students, schedule in-person interviews, and maintain consistent communication through phone, email, and text.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Admissions Office and Financial Aid Office to streamline the admissions process.
- Workload Management: Handle a high volume of prospective candidates each month, effectively managing multiple moving parts to keep the admissions funnel full.
- Customer Service: Build positive relationships with prospective students, representing the school with a friendly and professional demeanor.
