What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lunch Monitor | Part-Time 35% position at Winston-Salem/Forsyth County School District?
FUNCTIONAL PURPOSE
The purpose of this position is to assist in providing a safe learning environment for the students, teachers, and other school staff by helping maintain order and report or remove students whose behavior is unsafe or disruptive during school’s lunch period. This position is temporary part-time position.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supervises students assigned to lunchroom by monitoring their activities and ensuring their physical welfare.
- Monitors lunchroom for rules compliance.
- Provides assistance to students requiring additional guidance.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum: Must be 18 years of age with ability to effectively read and write.
